회사에서 자주 쓰는 tentative, on my end, dead serious👀💜:구슬쌤 영어 듣고 나서

1. Tentative: 잠정적인, 임시의, 불확실한, 시험적인,

Oxford 사전: not definite: still able to be changed.

The key is to not be tentative.

You have to play with absolute confidence.

 

2. Pencil in

<나중에 바꿀지도 모르지만> 일단은 ~ 를 예정해 놓다.잡아 놓다.

Why don't we schedule a tentative meeting for this Friday at 2?

잠정적으로 금요일에 잡아 놓자.

This is the tentative schedule for the process.

A: Do you have sometime to go over the process?

B: I'm available from 2 to 3, but let's make it tentative, and I'll let you know if anything changes.

<아예 처음부터 캘린더에 tentative 표시 기능이 있음>

From the get -go, you could actually have it activelly marked as teneative for everyone.

Tentatively:잠정적으로, 임시적으로

: subject to further confirmation; not definitely.

Can we tentatively set some time this week?

정해 놓는 set 대신 따로 빼놓는 느낌의 set aside를 써도 됨

We have a third event that's tentatively planned for February.

A:When it the follow-up meeting?

B: It's tentatively scheduled for this Friday.

It's tentatively scheduled to launch next month.

<변동될 수 있지만 일단> 중간고사 일정을 알려주며~

I wanna mention that we're tentatively scheduled the midterm for Wednesday, March 16th.

A; Are you serious?

B; I'm dead serious.
